From the first moment of contact with the office, the entire team showed the utmost in professionalism, kindness and genuine determination to offer the very highest in quality patient care. The intake appointment was very thorough and not only answered all my questions completely but gave me so much confidence in the knowledge they have about the procedure. Both Dr. Malchow and Dr.Rome are very thorough and extremely dedicated to sharing their combined experience and expertise to ensure that each individual patient has the very best care possible. Each patient is medically monitored throughout to ensure safety as well as being visually monitored every moment, which made me personally feel very safe and well cared for. They asked questions that no other doctors had ever thought to ask. They looked into my history and collaborated with my other physicians. The authentic concern for my wellbeing was evident with everything that they did. I felt as though my personal healing was as important to them as it was to me and my own family! Dr. Malchow wrote a personal care plan that was so personalized and insightful it literally brought me to tears. I will keep those 11 pages and follow every single one of his suggestions. The treatment itself helped my pain when a long list of other medications including opioids could not. It has shown me what life can look like without the dark and heavy weight of life long and untreatable depression, debilitating anxiety and traumatic PTSD. The level of care I have received at Tennessee Ketamine & Wellness has been amazing. Everyone is so organized, compassionate, and I have felt completely safe and comfortable during my treatments. Dr Malchow is the most sincere, caring doctor I’ve ever received care from. I scheduled my consult hopeful but skeptical. I left the consult still skeptical but even more hopeful. I started treatment and immediately knew this was going to work for me, by the day after the first treatment. I’ve completed treatment and am now on a maintenance schedule. It works!I lost my son and my mother within three days of each other in September, 2021. I didn’t think I could even survive another day. The pain I am carrying had me in such a dark hole, I was paralyzed and couldn’t find my way out. This was after over a year of traditional grief therapy, including EMDR and other modalities. Dr Malchow, Carrie, and Kim helped me find the light in my tunnel and move toward it.PTSD and grief don’t just go away. This practice has changed my life 100% for the better. Dr M is the most thorough and considerate anesthesiologistI have ever met. He went so far above the call and duties of a provider, it’s hard to explain. I have a pretty strict checklist for doctors I allow to work on me, and he is at the top. Any doc who calls you personally on their day off to make sure you’re doing ok, automatically gets a win in my book.The Ketamine treatment protocols that he has in place is light years ahead of other clinics. They go above the call of duty to make sure you feel safe, and comfortable the entire time of your infusion—which anyone who is new to Ketamine will quickly understand is a life saver. I’ve never felt more cared for and attended to in a medical setting and would return any day without hesitation.I’m sad to say my treatment plan has come to an end and I won’t be back regularly, but that means I’m happily living my life in a much better space than when I started. I can’t thank everyone in that office enough for taking such great care of me, and making me apart of their little medical family.

Dr. Malchow has the best bedside manners I've seen in a long time. He is personable, highly intelligent and is thorough to ensure safety and comfort during infusions. I haven't yet started but I will in a couple of weeks. He has personally checked in on me in between our consult and our now. I have complex medical issues and I have chosen to pursue ketamine here, because a nurse is with you the whole time and Dr. Malchow has just been great. I'm excited to start ketamine, somewhat nervous, but have been reassured and comforted by the support I've received from them.

I am so thankful I found out about ketamine infusion treatments. TN Ketamine & Wellness Center has honestly been life saving. I have suffered from depression, CPTSD, anxiety, and OCD. I went initially for a consultation after a family member had done these treatments with astounding results, including a 84% reduction in depression and PTSD symptoms. Everything is very individualized. Dr. Malchow, an Anesthesiologist MD with many years of ketamine experience, tailored the IV ketamine doses and infusions to my needs. I was carefully monitored during the entire infusion treatments. Dr. Malchow also made a wellness plan which was completely personalized for me. This plan is very detailed and has a lot of information to help me continue on my journey moving forward. It really shows how much he and his team care about their patients. I have never encountered a more professional, kind, and caring medical team until I came here. Everyone is so passionate and genuinely cares about your well being. I lost and was witness to the loss of my 15-year-old son to a tragic golf cart accident. It was nine years ago. The journey since has been nothing but pain and immense suffering. It’s cause severe mental instability. I lost my faith, my career, my family and many friends. Everything that meant so much to me. Anxiety the worst demon of all. I have tried many different drugs and treatments. I finished my sixth infusion and I’m awaiting my boosters. I don’t know how it all works scientifically. I can only describe it like a light switch. It has been dark, scary and left me unable to find my way. I noticed a difference after my first infusion. Only to get better and better.The light has been turned back on. I can see and I’m finding my way. I finally have some hope. Hope with continued therapy and the boosters I will have the peace of mind that I’ve been praying for. I am determined to get the word out spread it to us many people as I can. In today’s world we see so much anxiety and depression everywhere. This is an excellent treatment center. If your diagnosis calls for Ketamine treatment, this is a terrific option. AMG Ketamine and Wellness Center in Franklin, Tn is Amazing !! When I went for my consultation with Dr. Malchow, it was very thorough and in depth and the Dr. took time to explain everything and answered any questions we may have. My wife and I walked out of the office that day, kind of in shock that he and his staff devoted so much time to their 1st time consultation. After a short discussion at home, I decided to try this procedure. I have suffered with severe chronic pain for over 10 years along with depression and tried handfuls of medication and other alternative medicines and treatments like acupuncture.I have gone through four infusion sessions here and the last was on 7-28-22 since then, I have been 75% to 80% pain free, I feel like my mind has changed and I have a new lease on life. I have never encountered a medical staff like the staff at AMG of Franklin Tn. During my consultation visit, I was so impressed with everyone I came into contact with, especially Dr. Malchow. He wanted to know all about me and my experience with depression. He took as much time as I needed to answer all of my questions and to learn about my needs. It was as if I was the only one that he was caring for that day. I had his full attention, and he is so kind. Everyone there is very kind and concerned about your experience with them and your overall wellbeing. Dr. Malchow wrote several pages of a wellness plan that was just for me. He obviously put much thought into it. The ketamine infusions have done wonders for me over the past few weeks. I no longer wake up with the unbearable heaviness every morning and I have returned to the land of the living. Anyone who has suffered from depression will understand what I mean. I suffer from severe alcohol use disorder which is a nice way of saying im an alcoholic. Im going in for my third infusion and thus far the first two have helped me cut back on alcohol consumption almost 100%. I also struggled with insomnia which is now gone. Great staff. Treatment with ketamine has improved my depression symptoms 99% and turned my life around in a VERY short period of time. I noticed a difference after the first treatment. Goodness! Where do I even start? I’ve had chronic pain for over 20 years and have consistently been prescribed opiates. I had been studying the effects of ketamine on the brain and pain receptors for about 2 months. As I was studying I also found out that opiates cause hyperalgesia which makes you more sensitive to pain. I made an appointment for a consultation and Dr. Malchow sat with me for two hours discussing everything I had (6 autoimmune disorders). We decided that the opiates weren’t optimal anymore. I was a bit scared to let them go but he was very reassuring. I had my first treatment and with his help was off all opiates by the second treatment. The peace I felt with not just the infusion but with Dr. Malchow, Rona, and Dawn. It truly was a spiritual experience. They never left me alone the whole 4 hours and knew when I needed adjustments. This is the first time I’ve been out of pain in years. My husband has even been amazed by how my memory and energy have improved. I feel awake in a way that almost makes me cry. I had 5 infusions total and will possibly go back for boosters. I will always have to be treated for my autoimmune diseases but I NEVER have to be tethered to opiates again. I did my research and found AMG and Dr. Malchow and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made!Caveat- I’ve been able to stretch my boosters out because I’m now using NAD which he suggested and another medication that’s helping so much. I’ve removed 4 prescriptions because of this miracle! My pain has decreased so much. I love AMG! I love that I found true healthcare but most importantly I’ve found compassion. That’s what speaks volumes to me. I’m just so grateful.

I can’t say enough about this team. I was diagnosed with complex PTSD approximately 18 years ago and my symptoms have been resistant to treatment. I feel like I have tried every medication out there, along with ECTs, CBT, DBT, EMDR, several inpatient hospitalizations along with a 3 month stay at a residential treatment facility for trauma/PTSD which included mainly exposure therapy and schema therapy. I had tried everything and my symptoms just kept getting worse. I heard about ketamine treatment through my new psychiatrist and promptly looked into it. She recommended AMG Ketamine and Wellness Center. My husband and I went to my consultation with Dr. Malchow and we were blown away. He was so kind and thorough and took his time explaining the science behind ketamine therapy. I decided to go for it. I had nothing to lose. The effects that ketamine therapy has on my life is nothing short of amazing. It has given me the gift of a new baseline. The nurses here are also amazing (especially Dawn). I appreciate their efforts of continuity of care, as I have the same nurse and room almost every time I go. The environment is comfortable and healing. You need not suffer in the way or the degree in which you currently suffer. The price of treatment is the only understandable preclusion. However, if you only have funds enough to purchase food or treatment for the month, then I would recommend you get the treatment. Your outlook, being, and life will change in ways you cannot imagine. I cannot recommend & give enough praise to AMG Ketamine Clinic. To start, I’m 20 years old & had never had an IV before beginning this treatment. The nurses (Dwayne & Dawn) made every experience enjoyable. The IV was painless & by the end, I was just looking forward to seeing both of them. Dr. Malchow & Dr. Alfery were truly one of a kind. I couldn’t be more blessed to have found this amazing clinic for treatment on an array of issues. Issues that include chronic pain, depression and opioid dependence. First and for most, every person in this clinic has been an absolute blessing to work with. These are not just some of the best medical personnel I’ve worked with but some of the best human beings I’ve ever been around. Every person in the office cares about you as an individual and your health goals.I’ve been referred for years to different “specialists”, only to end up with more medication on top of more medication. Prior to having these infusions I was taking upwards of 20 pills a day for anxiety, depression, fibromyalgia, severe arthritis and of course chronic pain. After I completed 5 infusions I now take 3 medicines (which will go to 2 in less than 30 days) and none of those medications include opiates. I don’t want to incorrectly explain how the process works but one thing is for sure, it works! Dr Malchow will put you on a path to healing with the help of his entire staff (Dustin and Dawn play a big role in this process as well). I would recommend that anyone who suffers from these debilitating illnesses, reach out to them! They have literally saved my life through the grace of God!

Words can’t begin to describe how grateful I am to Dr Malchow and his entire team of professionals who cared for me at AMG Ketamine and Wellness Center. After a horseback riding accident many years ago and the following procedures, injections and surgeries, I felt like there was no hope for me. This has given me a second chance at life! This is not just a job for the wonderful people who work there, it’s truly a calling. Dr Malchow is one of the kindest, most compassionate people I’ve ever met and he and his staff care deeply for their patients. My family and I can’t thank them enough. I would wholeheartedly and without any reservation recommend this treatment to anyone struggling as I did for so many years.

A loved one sought treatment and was a bit nervous about the whole process, but what a fantastic experience. The staff, including Rona and Dawn are friendly and competent. Dr. Malchow made an amazing impression as a man who is as passionate about caring for his fellow man as well as the technical practice of medicine (which can often be very impersonal and clinical). We had a personal connection with him that usually takes years to develop. He is a healer in the best sense of the word.The experience at AMG itself was spa-like - comfortable and serene. A great amount of thought has obviously gone into the design the medical practice, and the training of the staff. "Why on earth didn't I make the appointment sooner" is rarely something that I hear from this loved one, but I heard it a lot after treatment. From someone who really does not like needles, injections and IVs, I was amazed.The treatment was thoroughly effective, with near immediate results - much better than any of the alternate treatments tried previously. I freely give my highest recommendation, and have repeatedly to everyone who will listen.

Dr. Malchow and his staff are excellent. Detailed assessment and attention to detail, especially safety. They really care about helping their patients. My depression responded favorably to the IV infusions of ketamine and I am deeply grateful that I found this place. If you are suffering from treatment resistant depression, I highly recommend getting a consultation with Dr. M, he literally has saved my life.

I am deeply thankful to have discovered the Ketamine Wellness Center. Dr. Malchow and his team are simply amazing. Their level of clinical expertise has been apparent from the very beginning of my treatment. My life has gone from a very dark and deeply depressed one to one that is bright and glorious and full of hope, joy, light, laughter and optimism and it is due entirely to the ketamine infusions I received at AMG along with the loving and compassionate care of Dr. Malchow and his phenomenal staff. I shudder just thinking about had I gone anywhere else because, at age 65, I know for a fact there simply aren't many doctors like Dr. Malchow who possesses a sincere and genuine desire to help heal people and see them improve so they can enjoy vibrant good health and have the joyous life we were all created to have. I have never felt as cared for or as completely safe as I do at AMG and I just cannot recommend them highly enough. I would urge anyone whose life is being negatively impacted by depression, PTSD, anxiety or pain to please not continue living under these clouds of despair when there is a simple but miraculous treatment available now. And I wouldn't consider going anywhere other than AMG in Franklin. Having completed my first series of 6 ketamine infusions, I am now happily looking forward to continuing with monthly maintenance infusions and life getting even better and more miraculous!

Dr. Randy Malchow and the staff at AMG Ketamine and Wellness Center are phenomenal!They provide outstanding professional and personal care that is only surpassed by their compassion for those they serve.I am a healthcare professional that needs to see strong evidence of studies in peer-reviewed medical literature supporting a treatment regimen--before I agree to utilize it. Therefore, before scheduling my first appointment, I did a thorough review of the research and evidence base (including the studies listed on the AMG Ketamine and Wellness Center website) and found that ketamine has been evaluated for many years and shown to be very effective in the treatment of several medical conditions—including depression and anxiety.However, beyond the published studies demonstrating efficacy, one always wonders what their personal experience will be like when receiving a treatment they have not tried before.Now after the initial phase of treatments and being on a monthly maintenance infusion for a few months, I am happy to report my experience has been even better than I even imagined it would be!Dr. Malchow is a wonderful example of being a kind and caring physician/healer with exceptional expertise and clinical skills. Pleased with Depression Remission after First-Time Ketamine Infusion Series:Hello. I had a wonderful experience with the healthcare providers and staff at AMG Ketamine & Wellness Center that I wanted to share.I have suffered from treatment-resistant bipolar II depression for many years. In the past, I have trialed dozens of medications, had electroconvulsive therapy (which helped at the time but caused cognitive / memory issues at my job which made occasional maintenance or repeat treatment series unsustainable), and ultimately even qualified for a research study that implanted a deep brain stimulator to try and treat me.Four months into turning on and adjusting the deep brain stimulator settings, my depression did indeed lift and was kept in remission for the past 5 years - allowing for a much reduced amount of medication and therapy for my mood stability. However, 2020 apparently proved to be too much even for my neural implant. Between the global pandemic, the loss of a parent to cancer, and a stressful job and living situation, I found that I once again was suffering from a dreaded major depressive episode and needed help.Having been displeased over several months of trying to get psychiatric help in Middle Tennessee due to the low availability of providers that take my insurance, slow speed of action for treatment, and poor quality of care / knowledge given my complex history (i.e., why retry me on medications that had previously not provided adequate relief?), I came across and reached out to the AMG Ketamine & Wellness Center. I had previously heard of both transcranial magnetic stimulation and ketamine medication as therapeutic modalities for treatment-resistant depression that I had not yet tried, and ketamine provided an option between the two - whether via nasal inhalation or IV infusion - that would not interfere with my deep brain stimulator hardware.The wellness center staff made me feel very welcomed and holistically cared for when I completed my intake assessment and throughout the treatment process. As it was an anesthesiologist - Dr. Malchow - that oversaw the ketamine infusions, it allowed for a more aggressive dosing schedule than offered by other ketamine clinics, which I appreciated given the hope it held for a quicker and stronger relief response for my depression.The calm environment and other adjunctive IV medications Dr. Malchow was able to prescribe meant that I stayed relaxed and never had a bad “trip” during my infusions, even despite eventually titrating the series of ketamine doses up to near their maximum limit. Personally, I found being on ketamine to be enjoyable and like having an interactive daydream that was different every time (if I didn’t find myself dozing off on occasion).Ultimately, I am pleased to announce that three weeks into my once-a-week treatment, the clinic assessed a 40% reduction in my depression scores while parents and in-laws were also first starting to note a personal improvement in mood. By the end of the six week main course, not only did I then personally start feeling better, but the clinic assessed a 70% reduction in my initial depression scores. It was so amazing and just what I had hoped for and needed.Just recently, I had the first of a few once-a-month maintenance treatments that I plan on completing to top off this medication therapy as recommended by the clinic (and I did feel like I needed a little booster). I will certainly keep the clinic on speed dial given the robust results and be recommending it to my friends and family.Now, here’s just to hoping that my insurance provider will consider reimbursing me for some of the cost of having my mental health back!

The staff here is amazing. They are warm, welcoming, and exceptionally qualified. It is clear that all the staff and Dr. M are passionate about what they do. I am so glad I found AMG Ketamine. Dr. Malchow and his team, Dawn and Rona, are truly the kindest and most compassionate people I've worked with in my journey to find pain relief over the years. Dr. Malchow was very thorough in explaining the process to me, at no point did I feel uncomfortable, they were prepared to address any need that I had. They are truly amazing, and I would recommend anybody to consider them if you are searching for a possible solution to your pain care needs or assistance with medication resistant depression.

After dealing with PTSD for several years we decided to give ketamine a try. Nothing else worked. Meds were useless and just masked symptoms, and the stelate ganglion block worked for a very short time. My husband was a police officer for 13+ years. Dr. Malchow is beyond awesome. He’s compassionate, and very knowledgeable. Some ketamine clinics do not have anesthesiologists who perform the infusions which means you could never get the maximized dosing. This treatment has been a life saver for my husband and family. I am beyond grateful to Dr. Malchow and his staff.

Dr. Malchow and associates changed and saved my life. Dr. Malchow was very careful and reviewed all potential positives and negatives and explained everything to me clearly. Everyone in the office is very kind and caring. Since I have completed my treatment, I will miss visiting with them. I cannot recommend Dr. Malchow and AMG Ketamine enough!!! I feel stronger and better mentally than I have since I can remember.

Dr. Malchow is one of the most caring and compassionate doctors I have ever met. He goes above and beyond for his patients.His compassion and professionalism have clearly been communicated with the nurses and other staff. They too, were both professional and caring and friendly.I had previously tried a different ketamine clinic, and that one was unable to complete even one infusion because it caused my blood pressure to rise.Dr. Malchow dealt with the blood pressure issue with ease. In addition, he makes the IV process almost painless!I highly reccommend Dr. Malchow, and AMG Ketamine.

I was diagnosed 10+ years ago with a condition once known as Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy known called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (Intense burning/freezing/severe neurological pain/swelling/color changes) along with several other conditions that coincide. 20 plus surgeries and every treatment and medication around (to include every pain medication a person can think of) were tried with little help when I considered the side effects and reactions. I heard of a treatment that was helping patients like myself several years ago called Ketamine Infusion Therapy. It was extremely difficult to find anywhere that offered the infusions. I was blessed to find a provider and location that started doing the infusions for me. After the recent opioid crisis many pain management providers and locations closed. My provider was one of the ones that closed. I also began having more health problems that needed closer attention especially during infusions. Traveling 2.5 hours each way to the previous facility was also extremely difficult. Due to a local support group I had the opportunity to meet Dr. Malchow at the VA while helping a friend from the group attend his second infusion protocol Dr. Malchow began at the facility. His protocol was quite different than the ones I had over the years. I'm not a Veteran myself so I was unable to get care at the VA; however after a long discussion regarding Ketamine Infusions the day we met he and I kept in contact. Dr. Malchow and AMG Ketamine opened and I had my first infusion under his protocol. I can't express how kind and knowledgeable Dr. Malchow and staff are with not only Ketamine treatment for my conditions as well as other infusion medications along with Ketamine to help increase my quality of life. The facility is clean, comfortable, non-clinical, relaxing and easy to navigate. My infusion was the most peaceful infusion I've experienced due to the difference in protocol and medications along with having a anesthesiologist monitoring my care continuously. I have been checked on personally the following day, next week and several weeks post infusion. I have been fortunate enough I've been able to extend the time between treatments and feel more hopeful. Thank you Dr. Malchow, Rona and staff at AMG Ketamine for your care, kindnesses, compassion and excellent care.

My wife has been traveling to New Orleans once a month for the past year in order to get a ketamine infusion given by an anesthesiologist, since she receives a higher dose than non-anesthesia trained providers can safely administer. We are both so grateful to have the Clinic open in Nashville. We were concerned that the care she has received in New Orleans would be matched, but our fears were needless. Dr. Malchow was comprehensive in his evaluation, communicated closely with her doctor in Louisiana, and her care has continued seamlessly. The staff is thoroughly professional and warm and caring in their treatment of her. She could not be more pleased with their care. Thank you, thank you.
